Diabetes Among Recipients of Home Health Services in the United States

Nationally representative data describing the health of noninstitutionalized Americans indicate that 31.6% adults ≥65 have diabetes. In 2012, a professor in Georgetown University, Washington, DC, carried out a report. The objectives of this report are to characterize diabetic recipients of HH services, describe the social circumstances in which these individuals receive these services, and estimate costs associated with their care.
